Every reception desk is made to order in our factory in China and shipped directly to you. This page explains production time, how freight is quoted, and what happens at delivery.

Production time

Production usually takes 15–20 days. Some designs are in stock and can ship within 3–7 days. If you need a desk by a certain date, email ilo@receptiondesk.shop before you order and we will tell you what is possible.

Freight cost

Prices on this site are for the desk only. Freight is not included.

After you place an order, we email you a freight quote based on your delivery address, the desk size, and the shipping method (sea, air, or express). Production starts once you confirm the quote.

If you do not want to go ahead after seeing the quote, we cancel the order and refund you in full.

Transit time

Transit time depends on the shipping method and your location. We confirm it together with the freight quote.

Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier or customs delays, and busy periods such as the second half of the year, Golden Week (early October), and Chinese New Year can add time.

Import duties and taxes

Import duties, taxes, and any customs exam fees are not included in the product price or the freight quote. They are paid by the buyer. The amount depends on your country and the product’s HTS code.

Packaging and assembly

Most of our reception desks ship fully assembled. A few designs ship in sections. These are easy to put together, and we help you online if you need it.

Tracking

Once your desk ships, we email you the tracking number, air waybill number, or bill of lading number, depending on the shipping method.

Insurance and damage

Shipments are insured. If your desk arrives damaged, follow the steps on our Freight Damage Claims page.
